PQ and I divide and conquer when we put our kiddos to bed. He takes one, I take one. The problem recently is...well our boy's verbalize it perfectly...
Captain Cole: "No Mom...DAD!"
Prince Preston: (in tears) "I don't want my mom, I want my daddy!"
So, what do we do?
PQ smiles(he loves it)...kisses both of the giggling boys...and takes one happy boy to bed
I smile too (pretending I don't feel rejected), try to kiss each of the crying boys...and take one upset, screaming boy to bed.
Thank Goodness for Daddy!
...they will want ME in the morning.

I would say LET HIM put them to bed. I don't ever feel bad but then again I am a mean mom. I like my time away from my kids almost as much as I like my time with them!
Christian always cries for Daddy to put him to bed too because Daddy is a PUSHOVER at bedtime and falls for all the excuses to stay up! Dads need to take their turn once in awhile right?!
