Season of Thanks

Today I am reminded of how lucky and thankful I am to be a wife and a mother.

I am Thankful to be a wife...

It has now been almost 7 1/2 years since I have become a wife, and it has been a fun ride. I feel so thankful to have found my eternal companion! To have a good looking & amazing man to share my life with! I feel so grateful to have a man who comes home to ME at the end of the day, who likes to eat my food, who lifts me up when I am down, who is grateful when I do the laundry or clean the house, or doesn't care when I don't, who wipes away my tears, who encourages me, who kisses me whenever I want. I am thankful that he is the father of my children, who carries the priesthood, who loves to laugh with me...or at me, I feel very fortunate to be a wife...but more importantly

I love being his wife!

I am Thankful to be a mother...

The last 3 1/2 years have been the most rewarding years of my life, and I attribute that to being a mother. I always knew I wanted to be a mom, and couldn't wait for the special day when I became one, but I never could have imagined the rewards that I would receive from being one. I cherish the responsibilities I carry as a mother: comforting, playing, feeding, teaching, laughing, disciplining, hugging & kissing, worrying, etc. I feel so fortunate that heavenly father has blessed me with children. I love being there when they need a hug or laugh, feeding them something yummy, kissing their scrapes & kissing their eyelids when they are sleeping, making forts and cookies, feeling their tears on my cheek, going on daily outings, playing bad guys or WWF.

I love the small & special moments that occur constantly.

Well, to put it simply... I am very thankful to be a mother!
